On Tue, Apr 24 CSU photo student Matt Wolosz presented his work to the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Friends of Photography. He, along with students from U of Akron and CIA, displayed prints and talked about his work at Society for Photographic Education’s (SPE) national headquarters (in a surprising coincidence, the Akron student turned out to be Matt’s aunt!). All three students had strong work and it was a nice time all around.
Friends of Photography is an Affiliate Group of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The organization strives to cultivate knowledge of the art and history of photography, to promote private collecting, and to generate funds with which to acquire works for the museum. Student participation is encouraged with a discounted membership fee. For more information of FOP, visit http://fop-cma.org/
