Description of duties: The intern helps in the facilitation and organization of all photographs taken in; clinic, hospital, operating rooms and research photos for the Dermatology staff and/or residents. Loads images and information into the image database to categorize and maintain patient files and images. Helps department photographers with photo for talks, papers, book chapters, and any other presentation needed. Provides other photo services the department may need; Including photo editing, graphic design with brochures, printing images, maintaining digital photo files, advising end user on imaging techniques.

Benefit to volunteer:  Obtain valuable work experience working with professional photographers in a dynamic health care setting.

Experience or skill required: Currently in a photography program or graduate, Associates Degree or BA

Physical activity required: Some medium to light lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to get up on a stepladder, and photograph patients from a floor sitting position.
