CSU Art Dept alumna and current Ohio University MFA candidate will have an openining reception for her solo show at Rotten Meat Gallery this Friday. The show, Secret Wishes and Dark Dreams, includes large painted panels Anna created as part of her installation she created for her installation for her  thesis exhibition.

CSU photo students Ryan Upp and Matt Wolosz both have work featured in the  new Spring 2012 issue of Case Reserve Review. CRR is the official student-run literary and photographic magazine of Case Western Reserve University. CRR encourages creative expression by publishing one free, book-style issue each semester featuring original poetry, prose, and photography submissions from students across the nation.

TEACHING ARTIST POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio, an arts education non-profit has a roster of over 100 individual artists and ensembles who offer interactive and hands-on programs to students in all arts disciplines.  Young Audiences staff provides professional development and technical assistance in marketing, scheduling and coordinating programs.  To learn more about Young Audiences visit www.yaneo.org

Position Description:
Hired as independent contractors, Young Audiences teaching artists develop and implement programs for children and teachers throughout 18 counties in Northeast Ohio.  We are seeking professional artists who can provide performances and workshops in all art forms but especially those working in Photography, Design, Digital Media Arts and Graphic Animation Arts.

Qualifications:
Skill in managing arts programs in a school or educational setting

Flexible scheduling availability

Preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience or a strong desire to work with school-age children

Very much in need of a photographic artist to teach in K-12 setting
