Amazing Macro Photography Composites of Insects

April 28, 2016

Microsculpture from Levon Biss on Vimeo.

Levon Biss is a photographer who recently photographed insects with a microscopic lens. Because such close up images have such shallow depth of field, he took thousands of images with different areas of each bug in focus. He would also light each tiny area to maximize the detail He then digitally stitched the images together to create giant, hyper-detailed photographs of the exotic bugs.
