Don’t miss this stunningly beautiful show by three noted contemporary artists who are working at the leading edge of the possibilities of photographic process. Fred Bidwell will talk about the practice of the three artists featured in Process and Abstraction that are united in the beauty of their work even though their conceptual intentions are very different. At this turning point in the history of photographic technology, many artists are working with both analog and digital tools to make images that are “post-photographic”. Is this the death of photography or the flowering of a new art form? Bidwell will share work from a variety of other artists who, along with Alison Rossiter, Jessica Eaton and Mariah Robertson, are testing the limits and meaning of the medium.
