Current and prospective full-time undergraduate art majors seeking a first BA degree and needing at least 24 additional credit hours for graduation are invited to apply for the Art Department 2016-2017 Visual Art Merit Scholarship.

VISUAL ART MERIT SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION 2012- 2013

Approximately $40,000 in scholarship, up to full tuition, is awarded on the basis of artistic merit.

ELIGIBILITY: Current and prospective full-time undergraduate art majors seeking a first B.A. degree and needing at least 24 additional credit hours for graduation who have not defaulted on a previous CSU Merit Scholarship agreement within the past year.

 Applying is easy:
  • be an art major
  • entry form
  • six images
  • optional artist statement

A note: I highly recommend consulting with your area faculty member on the portfolio you submit. In the past, those photo students I’ve consulted with have done much better than those who’ve edited the work on their own, or included non-class related projects.  I’m just sayin’…

CSU Visual Art Merit Scholarship Competition

Approximately $35,000 in scholarship, up to full tuition is awarded on the basis of artistic merit.

Must be a current or prospective full-time undergraduate art major seeing first B.A. degree, needing at least 24 additional credit hours for graduation.  Those who’ve defaulted on a previous CSU Merit Scholarship are not eligible.
